TYPE O NEGATIVE's KELLY Auctioning 'Bloody Kisses'-Era Drum Kit

March 8, 2006

TYPE O NEGATIVE/DANZIG drummer Johnny Kelly is auctioning a drum kit that he used in 1994-1995 during the touring cycle to support TYPE O's most successful album to date, "Bloody Kisses". It was used when TYPE O supported MÖTLEY CRÜE, DANZIG, PANTERA and QUEENSRŸCHE as well as the countless headlining shows the band did during that tour. This kit was also used in the video "Love You to Death".

Commented Kelly: "These are Pearl Masters Series. The shells are all maple. The sizes are as follows: 15x12 rack tom, 16x16 floor tom, 18x16 floor tom & 24x16 kick. I'm including the Pearl ISS tom mount for the rack tom. The floor toms come with the legs. The kit is in good shape but has the usual dings that come with being on tour for over a year. It's been sitting in the corner of our rehearsal space for a long time not being used. It has a fresh coat of Krylon Flat Black and each drum has been autographed by the entire band.

"The kit is sold as is. Shipping is set at $200.00 and I will not ship internationally. If the shipping is less, I will refund the difference."

To view pictures of the kit and to bid on the set, visit the eBayauction page.
